New Era Cancer Research Fund

Through our New Era Cancer Research Fund, Foundation for Cancer Research & Wellness leads the quest to provide research funding into least-toxic and minimally-invasive cancer prevention and treatment options. We have a specific emphasis in understanding the links between nutrition and the environment and cancer, as well as with the psycho-social aspects of cancer prevention, treatment and survival. Research to demonstrate these links and the required cultural and lifestyle changes ranks as our top priority.  We are currently working with:
 

• The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, Department of Community and Family Medicine - to develop a program to study communication between medical professionals and patients, in an effort to provide transformational change in the way medical care is perceived and given. 

• The University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Family Medicine - to develop an integrative “Healing Plan” for healthy lifestyles and preventative care.
